This April for National Poetry Month, we get to celebrate two poets (at least until I eventually get my collections out in the world.)

Stephan Silich has been hard at work with new collections, each one better than the one before.

It's been a privilege to witness the development of his career. With each new collection, while exploring similar themes he still manages to unveil a new and fresh perspective. Here's to Stephan as he continues to write and release his many beautifully crafted poems.

Then there's our newest poet, Reese Landry @reeselandrypoetry

We hope you'll join us in welcoming her to the Brooklyn Writers Press family. She's a true talent and we can hardly wait to introduce her to our readers.

Her collection is in pre-production. We're so excited to be a part of her journey to becoming a published poet. Stay tuned for more on her release in the weeks ahead.

I love that each poem reads like a short story that is so personal. It's a beautiful escape - so meditative and reminds us of what is important. -ABBY SCHWARTZ

If you haven't yet experienced Stephan's poetry, we hope you'll consider exploring his work.

Since 2018, he's amassed a following of devote poetry lovers who consider his work more than just lyrical words on a page, but rather soothing interpretations of what life is, what it can be and the transition in between.

And to all you poetry lovers, keep reading.

Poetry, can be the salve to a worried soul, the spark to heart blooming in love, a companion in moments of sorrow, and a light in our darkest of days.

Poetry is indeed LIFE.
